Each year, ²ÝÁñÉçÇøhonors exemplary members nominated by their peers for exceptional service and commitment to the association and to the field of college health and wellness.

This year’s Fellows and Award Recipients were honored at the , during a special ceremony held on May 27, 2026. Also honored at the ceremony were the recipients of several ACHF awards.

The award ceremony was not just a celebration of individual accomplishments by our members but a testament to the spirit of dedication and progress that defines our community. As we look to the future, we remain committed to fostering an environment where innovation thrives, partnerships flourish, and together, we make a lasting impact.

Becoming an ²ÝÁñÉçÇøFellow is one of the highest honors a member can achieve, acknowledging both career-long dedication and impact on the field.

Best Practices in College Health Award

This award recognizes exemplary, innovative, and inspirational practices in the field of college health. Earning this honor marks a recipient as a true vanguard shaping the future of student health and well-being.

This year, we had four recipients:

  • Johns Hopkins University, for the Advancing ADHD Care in College Health: An Integrated, Equity-Centered Clinical Evaluation Program

Lifetime Achievement Award

The ²ÝÁñÉçÇøLifetime Achievement Award is one of the ACHA’s most prestigious recognitions. In 2026, this honor was awarded to Deb Hubbell, RPH, University of Connecticut (retired).

Deb has been a distinguished leader in college health and wellness. Over a nearly three-decade career at the University of Connecticut, she served as both pharmacist and administrator within the AAAHC-accredited Student Health and Wellness program, advising senior leadership and strengthening clinical support services across pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and health information systems. Deb has given generously to ²ÝÁñÉçÇøthrough years of volunteer leadership on the Board of Directors, in the Pharmacy Section, and in various ²ÝÁñÉçÇøcommittees. Deb’s commitment to care extends beyond campus. For nearly 40 years, she has served as a long-term care consultant pharmacist for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
