LaNika Wright serves as associate vice chancellor of student wellness and dean of students at East Carolina University and practices as a women’s health nurse practitioner. She earned a Bachelor
of Science in nursing from East Tennessee State University, a Master of Science in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a PhD from East Carolina University. She is also a board-certified adult sexual assault nurse examiner.
LaNika serves on the Pitt County Sexual Assault Response Team and the Pitt County United Way Board and advises the ECU Chapter of the National Congress of Negro Women. Nationally, she has served six years with the Southern College Health Association and currently serves within the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø and as a surveyor for AAAHC.
She is married to Dr. Marion Wright, Jr., and is the proud mother of Marion III and Monique. In her spare time, she enjoys working in ministry at her church, shopping, and spending time with family.
