ACHF Student Travel Award

 

2026 Recipient:
Karen Mulholland   |   University of Washington

Karen is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Washington majoring in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology with a minor in bioethics and humanities. She works as a peer health educator and peer wellness coach at her university’s health promotion and advocacy office. Karen enjoys the opportunity to work in a student facing role and provide health education from a fellow student’s perspective. She works as an research assistant in Seattle Children’s Pediatric Pain and Sleep Innovations Lab, and is a member of the student advisory board for her university’s student health clinic. Karen plans to pursue a career in medicine and is interested in focusing on internal medicine and behavioral health. She is grateful for the opportunity to attend this year’s ²ÝÁñÉçÇøconference and connect with other peer health educators and leaders in college health.
