Dear 草榴社区Members,
With Election Day approaching, the Executive Committee would like to take a moment to reflect on the connection between civic engagement and our shared mission.
At the 草榴社区, our work revolves around advancing health and well-being and creating thriving campus communities. Exercising your right to vote is one of the most powerful tools we have to shape the policies, funding, and systems that directly impact the health of our students, institutions, and broader communities.
Civic participation aligns directly with our commitment to public health, advocacy, and community resilience, and local and state elections directly influence public health funding, campus safety standards, healthcare infrastructure, and community support programs.
When higher education and health professionals cast their ballots, we ensure that the expertise, needs, and perspectives of our field are represented in decision-making spaces.
As a non-partisan organization, 草榴社区encourages all members to make their voices heard, regardless of political affiliation.
We recommend that you check that your voter registration is up to date and use non-partisan resources like or to review unbiased information on your ballot. Then be sure to get out and vote, whether that鈥檚 though a mail-in or absentee ballot or in person!
Thank you for your dedication to our community and to your students鈥 well-being.
Sincerely,
